100 Day Campaign "Child Marriage Free India"

“Child Marriage Free India” is a 100-day campaign focused on ending child marriage. It aims to raise awareness, empower children and youth, and strengthen community support. During this period, volunteers, schools, panchayats, and frontline workers come together to inform families about the legal marriage age, the health and psychological risks of early marriage, and the importance of education for both girls and boys.

The campaign includes rallies, street plays, school workshops, counseling sessions with parents, and door-to-door outreach. It encourages communities to view child marriage as a violation of rights and a criminal act. Village Child Protection Committees, teachers, ASHA, and Anganwadi workers keep an eye on vulnerable households, report any suspected cases, and step in to prevent planned child marriages.

Youth groups join in creative learning activities, pledge ceremonies, and leadership sessions to boost confidence and awareness among adolescents. By the end of these 100 days, the campaign aims to establish stronger protection systems, raise community awareness, decrease attempts at early marriage, and declare villages free of child marriage. This effort promotes a safe, educated, and empowered childhood for every child.
